Funko Booth at SDCC 2014

Two years ago we walked into the Funko booth, a small area with a few sets of shelves, and had our choice of Funko Pop!’s.  There was no line and we were still newbies to the Funko name ourselves.

Fast forward to 2014 and WOW! – things have changed.  Lines for the booth reached capacity within minutes and thousands of fans cycled through the booth over the course of the convention.

Below are some photos we took from outside the booth (early Thursday morning) and some from when we returned that afternoon.  Notice the special cameo from a certain Brian Mariotti (president of Funko)!

As you can see, the booth was a hit and Funko had another successful year at SDCC. How could they possibly top this? We don’t know, but we’ll be there when it happens.

  1. Hmmm… I like Funko, but I heard from several attendees that everything was sold out right after the floor opened on at least 2 days. They also said that the exhibitors seemed like they didn’t care about the regular attendees. Any comments from anyone else out there?

  2. I would love to have all of these things.

  3. I heard that booth was madness. I avoided it like the plague.

  4. I love Funko sooo much. I would love to go to Comic-Con just to see this!

  5. I could not get anywhere near that booth all weekend, until Sunday when all they had left was Asian Pop figures I’d never heard of. I did get a Jayne ReAction exclusive though.
