Back in July, we visited RTX and were lucky enough to attend the Halo panel, led by 343 industries. During the panel they unveiled the all-new Champions Bundle and gave us a release date of August 20th. It seemed so far away at the time, but here we are on the eve of the release.
Tomorrow, The Champions Bundle, made up of the Infinity Armour Pack, the Steel Skins Pack and the Bullseye Pack will be available for download and here’s what you can expect.
WHAT EXACTLY COMES WITH THE CHAMPIONS BUNDLE
Infinity Armor Pack – Three new armor sets, including the Mark V and ODST gear.
Steel Skins Pack – Ten new skins for your weapons, including some steampunk inspired skins.
Bullseye Pack – two new maps (Pitfall and Vertigo), sports-themed Spartan armor and the all-new game mode Ricochet. Ricochet is a 5v5 game where players compete for possession of a ball while trying to score on the opponents goal. Throw it in or run it in.

The entire bundle will set you back 800 Microsoft Points – that’s $10 for all of us in the real world. At RTX, 343 made it sound like users would be able to purchase the entire bundle OR choose only the “packs” that they wanted to purchase. In other words, if the only thing you care about is new maps, you could pay just a few dollars and get the Bullseye Pack only.
Important Note: The Champions Bundle is not part of Halo 4’s season pass.
What do you think? Will you be downloading the new bundle on August 20th?
