‘Lagertha’ by Rhys Cooper [ FAMP Art ]

Last year, FAMP Art teamed up with Australian artist Rhys Cooper to illustrate a stunning character banner of Ragnar Lothbrok from the hit TV series, Vikings. This year, the duo are pairing up again to release a companion banner to Ragnar, this time focusing on his beautiful and fierce counterpart, Lagertha.

This incredible work of art features a six color screen print process that uses three metallic inks and will be hand-numbered. Fans attending Boston Comic Con this coming weekend will have the first chance to pick up the Lagertha print at FAMP Art’s booth (#325). All remaining prints will then go on sale August 16th on their website after the convention. Check out the full print details below and make sure to keep an eye on FAMP Art’s social media channels for more information!

This new officially licensed banner centers on Lagertha’s season 4 persona as she continues her quest to grow as a powerful leader in the Viking world. You’ll notice many details from the season making an appearance in the print such as the barn owl that’s featured prominently throughout the second half of the season. The new art will be expertly screen printed by Seizure Palace Screen Printing and will feature three metallic inks to help make Lagertha really shine.

*After Boston Comic Con, remaining prints will go on sale Wednesday, August 16th at 12PM EST via the FAMP Art website*

Based in New York, FAMP Art is a company that specializes in creating officially licensed, limited edition screen printed posters of foreign films, pre-1980s classics and some random goodies here and there of things we simply love. FAMP Art was founded to bridge the gap between pop culture art and art-house cinema, focusing on films that don’t get much love in the art world but are praised in the world of cinema (and that we ourselves are passionate about). Our goal is to fuse two different worlds through the glory of awesome and beautiful art prints. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram to stay updated on all of our releases.
