I’ve been a LootCrate subscriber since we first met with LootCrate CEO & Co-Founder Matt Arevalo last year at RTX. As the crates have rolled in, we’ve shared the contents and informationon our Instagram page and now here in the blog.
Here’s the low-down on what LootCrate offers. For under $20 a month, they deliver a box of Geek and Gamer gear valued at over $40. Shirts, stickers, collectibles from companies like kidrobot & Funko, and random fun stuff like sunglasses & socks. All the gear is nerd/geek themed and every month is like Nerd Christmas. I can’t wait to find out what is inside each month.
OCTOBER 2014 LOOTCRATE UNBOXING
October’s theme was (appropriately) FEAR and that could only mean some awesome Halloween/scary movie/zombie themed stuff, right? Nailed it – LootCrate delivered with an assortment of items geared at the awesomeness that is Halloween!
What’s in the BOX?!!
- Death by Kitten T-Shirt from Super 7 EXCLUSIVE
- Toxic Candy Waste
- Sledgesaw Hammer Pen from Capcom EXCLUSIVE
- How to Survive a Sharknado Book from Random House
- “Oh, Brother” art print by SuperEmoFriends
- The Walking Dead #132 from Image Comics EXCLUSIVE
- Slashes & Bites tattoos from Loot Crate Labs
- Smite Gift Card from Super 7 EXCLUSIVE
- Loot Crate Magazine FEAR in 3D
- The October LootCrate button
All-in-all I’m really happy with the contents this month. I’d have been happy with the TShirt and the TWD Comic to be honest, but don’t tell LootCrate that. The “Oh, Brother” print and the Sledgesaw hammer pen are going up at the office for Halloween and I plan on using that pen daily! Who knows, on Halloween I might just bust out those Slashes & Bites tattoos for fun at the office too.
