If you’re a collector of limited edition screen prints, then you already know the names Grey Matter Art and Gabz. Grey Matter Art, who we have written and talked about many times before, works with artists to bring us amazing posters worthy of framing. Gabz is an artist who has been creating these works of art for years and is responsible for some of my absolute favorites, like Pacific Rim & Star Wars.
Now, these two dynamic forces have come together for another Must Have – Robocop.

Artist Statement:
It was a challenge to pay tribute to such a 80’s classic, which on top of that, has been done by so many amazing artists before me. Till this day I remember how shockingly violent and bloody this movie was, back when I saw it for the first time as a teenager and I thought that my print definitely needs to reflect some of that bloodiness. Opposite to some other takes on the franchise, my Robocop is one tough looking cyborg who “saves the day” and helps few poor thugs to “stay out of trouble”.
I’m happy with the customised title treatment and the whole layout was intended to look like some sort of a fictional OCP flayer.
ABOUT GREY MATTER ART
We had the pleasure of meeting up with the guys at Grey Matter Art at New York Comic Con in October. Not only are they hitting it out of the park with their high-end collectible posters, but they are really great guys too. We are big fans and I have several of their posters framed and hanging in the dojo.
