Team Xbox One will soon be able to bring the exhilaration of Rocket League, thanks to the very recent announcement by Psyonix! Word got out via press release that the developer/publisher of Rocket League will grant the wishes of many, many XB1 Battle Drivers:
Independent video game developer and publisher, Psyonix, is pleased to announce that the sports-action hit, Rocket League, will be available for digital download on Xbox One today via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program Wednesday, February 17 for $19.99 USD (or regional equivalent).
Fully optimized for Microsoft’s all-in-one system, Rocket League offers the same excellent content, upgrades, and features found in the PlayStation®4 and Steam versions, but comes jam-packed with exclusives and bonuses from new cars to antennas, wheels, and rocket trails.
Fans of the game have been dreaming of this day for a while and have gotten the usual teasing from PC and PS4 users alike. But soon the teasing shall stop, for the good folks at Psyonix is bringing extra fuel to this party. Per the developer, a bundle inside the game will include three of the previously-released DLC packs for FREE:
- “Supersonic Fury” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 5 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels
- “Revenge of the Battle-Cars” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 3 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels, 4 Toppers, 2 Antennas
- “Chaos Run” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 2 Wheels, 2 Rocket Trails, 3 Toppers, 3 Antennas
But wait, there’s more….and I’m not talking steak knives kids. If you look out the image above, two expletive-causing exclusive Battle Cars will be included also – the Halo “HogSticker” and the Gears of War “Armadillo”! The former is an “alternate” version of our beloved Warthog and the GOW car is just plain sick with the logo on the roof.
Make sure you mark your calendars and we’ll see you on the battlefield.
