Science and Iron Man Help a Young Boy in Need

We caught this story about help a short while ago from our friends over at Collider and needed to share it as well. This story is that good…

7-year-old Alex was born with a partially developed right arm, loves superheroes, and  riding his bike. Albert Manero attends the University of Central Florida where he studies mechanical engineering. Robert Downey Jr. is well……Robert Downey Jr. The thing about Albert is that he might very well be an undercover Avenger. You see, Albert currently works on building and donating 3D-printed bionic limbs for kids. He’s able to help through his volunteer group  – Limbitless Solutions and Microsoft’s The Collective Project. Together, and at a fraction of the cost, they’re able to provide the limbs and help those in need at just a fraction of the normal price. We’re talking thousands off the normal price!

What does all that add up to?

RDJ decided to let Iron Man help and got involved with Albert and his group when he learned what they were going to do for Alex and his arm. The video shows Alex walking through a hallway to Mr. Stark’s room where RDJ had brought some “extra special” armor for young Alex.

Maybe the world ain’t that bad after all.
