Star Wars Smuggler’s Bounty – Bounty Hunters – Reveal

Funko has been knocking it out of the park with the Smuggler’s Bounty subscription box. We had no doubt that they would keep their streak alive with the fourth installment of the Star Wars sub box, themed Bounty Hunters and we were right not to worry. We just received our delivery and immediately cracked it open to find out what was inside.

Who’s ready to play a little What’s In The BOX?!!!

Star Wars - Smuggler's Bounty - Bounty Hunters - Inside LidAs with all the Funko subscription boxes, we aren’t just unboxing a cardboard box full of “stuff.” No, the Smuggler’s Bounty is an experience that starts with a themed box and carries on through two layers of exclusives, including the patch and pin (standard issue for every delivery).

Journey on a little further and you’ll find the rest of your “bounty,” complete with a Pop! Tee and TWO exclusive Pop! vinyl figures this month.

Star Wars - Smuggler's Bounty - Bounty Hunters - Contents - with Numbers

  1. IG-88 Funko Pop!
  2. Bounty Hunters Pop! Tee
  3. Boba Fett Funko Pop!
  4. Bounty Hunters Pin
  5. Bounty Hunters Patch

This was another fantastic delivery from Funko. My absolute favorite thing is that Boba Fett Pop! Honestly, the base on this one is absolute genius and a nice departure from the black base found on other Star Wars Pop! figures. These new “flying” Pop! molds that we’ve seen recently, like Deadpool, Superman & Iron Man are so awesome!! I am also a big fan of the Bob Fett patch and the T-Shirt this month. These sketch shirts (which have the look and feel of a blueprint to me) are just fun to look at and a nice break from the norm.

It looks as if everyone got the same contents this month, meaning no variants or CHASE figures to be on the lookout for. If you have found anything to the contrary, please let us know, so we can share with everyone.

And here is where our reveal/unbox differs from the rest. I like to take a deep dive and really zoom in on the contents of the box. Here are some high-res images of each of the items in the latest Smuggler’s Bounty – Bounty Hunters. Click on any image below for a larger version, complete with sharing options.

In case you haven’t already been stalking Funko’s social accounts for hints on the next Smuggler’s Bounty theme, we’ve got a surprise for you.  The next theme has already been revealed and it is…..

We haven’t seen any Super-Sized Pop! vinyl in a subscription box since the original Hulkbuster. Could a new Jabba be on the way? How about a variant on the Rancor (by himself)? Will we see some Star Wars Dorbz finally? I guess we’ll just have to wait a couple of months to find out.

May the Force Be With You all. Now, for those of you who haven’t already, head on over and sign up for Smuggler’s Bounty right now.

  1. My favorite item in this box was also Boba Fett. I’m an “in-box” collector but I have to say, this particular Pop is very tempting to open!

Those are good guesses for July’s theme. I’d also love to see a Han Solo in Carbonite Pop. I’ve wanted one ever since I’ve see an incredible custom made!

    Great posts, as always!

  2. I saw on the back they had a 4LOM listed and I don’t recall seeing him announced with this latest wave so I thought maybe he was a chase. Either way, they killed it this month. I almost guessed exactly what was coming but still love it. Now I need a Han in Carbonite to go with my Boba Fetts. Maybe in the next box, fingers crossed

  3. I’m still wondering if the “Assasin Droid” thing was an inside joke like the Blue Snaggletooth, or if it is an actual spelling error. I’m hoping he former. Either way, still waiting for mine to show up.
