Seems like Dimension Films was trying to put the “Sin” in one of their latest character posters for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. And why not? This isn’t billed as a family or children’s movie right? The film’s first outing was dark, had action, and carried adult notes with it so – surprise, surprise – this sequel will be pretty much the same. And that’s not a bad thing.
According to Deadline, the MPAA voiced their disapproval for the steamy poster featuring sexy actress Eva Green who plays Ava Lord. The Hollywood “parents” gave this as their reason:
We’re told it was nixed “for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.”

The poster will probably be reworked in a manner that gets Mom and Dad’s approval along with Dimension Film’s. The good news is that the poster is out there in the interwebs now so that we all can admire Ava Lord’s “talents.”
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens August 22nd.
