Our hype level for Avengers: Infinity War just jumped to new heights. The announcement of the title and directors already had us at a 10 out of 10. But now, with ‘only’ 448 days until the premiere of the biggest film in the history of cinema, Marvel dropped a teaser that just took us all the way to 11 (one step shy of where Tom Holland is right now).
The ‘Action … Avengers: Infinity War‘ featurette (full of “fun-filled lensing”) is the beginning of a marketing adventure, the likes of which the world has never seen. It’s not even necessary, since we’ll all be there on opening weekend, but it sure is appreciated.
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, as started in May of 2008, with the release of Iron Man I, and it really is an unprecedented culmination of a series of films interlinked together, which at the time had never been done before. – Kevin Feige
Because of what Marvel is, because of what they have done over the last 10 years, these next two Avengers Films will be an event like no one has ever seen on film before. – Joe Russo
