Last year, Disney Infinity landed on game consoles and was an immediate success. For the first time, fans around the world were able to play as some of their favorite Disney characters in a giant digital universe, made up of world’s from their favorite movies and TV shows.
As an added bonus for Disney (something I am sure they planned) collectors also got in on the action. The figures used to activate the story lines/characters in the virtual game became instant collectibles. I for one became a fan the instant I saw Sulley was part of the starter pack and I picked up several individual Sulley figures along the way!
DISNEY INFINITY 2.0
Like any successful movie or video game, a sequel wasn’t far behind. With the recent acquisition of Marvel, Disney had an entirely new universe to borrow from and play in. So, come this November, Disney is taking things to a whole new level with Disney Infinity 2.0 – Marvel Super Heroes!
Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes wil be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Wii U, iOS, PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 right out of the gate, so everyone can get in on the action.
As Disney did for the original Infinity release, there will be a Starter Park available, which includes the game, 3 figures (Iron Man, Thor & Black Widow), the base, 2 Toy Box game discs, a Marvel The Avengers Play Set piece and a web code card.

With a release date of November, 2014 it looks like the new game and figures will arrive just in time for the crazy holiday shopping season.
