It’s been awhile since we heard anything from M. Night Shyamalan but we’re ready to give him another chance. After all, Signs and The Sixth Sense still hold up to this day. Now, the writer/director/producer is backing writer Chad Hodge’s new 10-episode series titled Wayward Pines. Based on Blake Crouch’s novel Pines, the show will focus on the town and all that lies beneath the surface of this “great place to live”. With menacing phone calls, dark tones, and a little nod from Twin Peaks (maybe?) this might be a new Thursday “must watch” for us. Judging from the teaser that just hit the web, we’re about as anxious to move here as we would be to move to Silent Hill.
