The lovely & talented Gina Torres was a guest at this year’s Emerald City Comicon and we were NOT going to miss it. Of course you know Gina as Zoe Washburne from Firefly, but she has had many memorable roles over the years, including shows like 24, Xena, Hercules, Cleopatra 2525, Angel, The Shield, Alias, Suits and most recently Revenge and Hannibal (I had no clue about her being on Hannibal).
Gina was on point as usual, dressed to the nines and as eloquent as ever. She spoke about her life as Mrs. Fishburne, working across from her husband on Hannibal, how close she still is with the crew of Serenity and she answered some questions from the crowd, including those inevitable “If Firefly were to return….” hypotheticals that pop up EVERY time a Firefly cast member attends a con.
