Fighters Report for Mortal Kombat X Today

Fighters of the Earthrealm, prepare yourselves. Today, Mortal Kombat X is unleashed in all it’s fatality-driven glory. Though it’s been awhile since we’ve played a fighting game, both Sully and I have been looking forward to this release for some time. The trailer that got released featuring two of the game’s iconic characters – Scorpion and Sub-Zero – was enough to make us drool. Wiz Khalifa’s badass track “Can’t Be Stopped” that plays during the trailer also helped us get into full fight mode as well.

But if the trailer and the song still had you on the fence for Mortal Kombat X, then recent news about some favorite fatalities and some famous playable characters might do the trick. DLC “Kombatants” for the game include fan favorite Goro and probably the most crazy and anticipated two: Predator and Jason Voorhees! The announcement of those two characters added a lot of gasoline to the fan community  fire for Mortal Kombat X. If you’re like us and haven’t played any of the Mortal Kombat games in a while, Gamespot just posted a great article with a “CliffsNote” version of the games and their stories to catch you up on what’s been going in the MK-verse.
