It’s felt like The House was holding all the cards for that Gambit movie we’ve heard about fans may have another ray of hope to look forward to now. While we may be seeing the last of Wolvie and more of Deadpool, it’s always nice to get a refreshing change of pace in the comic book movie world. The producer of the strained Gambit film provided the following detail:
“We have a great script on that and hope to shoot that movie at the beginning of spring of next year.”
The card playing, staff-wielding mutant’s movie has been plagued with several setbacks and feisty rumors of people walking off the set in the past. Now with it’s second director Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow) and a script that’s being polished by Reid Carolin, things could be looking up. I mean, at least in Kinberg’s eyes which is fine by us.
