Get Ready for an Animated Adult Deadpool Series

The popular Legion series on FX has strengthened the relationship between Marvel Television and FX Networks / FX Productions. An announcement was made today that everyone’s favorite Merc With a Mouth is headed to the small screen, this time as an animated series. A 10-episode Deadpool animated adult action-comedy has been ordered by FXX, and if that wasn’t cool enough – also announced was that insanely talented Donald Glover and Stephen Glover will serve as showrunners!

Donald Glover is an incredibly gifted and versatile artist who’ll bring the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool series to life with the same intense, singular vision as his breakout hit Atlanta. We couldn’t agree more with Grad. Glover is one of the most gifted and versatile players on the scene. Whether it’s his incredible show Atlanta, on stage as “Childish Gambino”, or the Han Solo everyone pretty much agreed on – the guy is on fire. You can bet he’s going to bring it with an animated Deadpool series and we can’t wait. He’ll join forces with Stephen Glover who’s a script(and song)writer on Atlanta as well, not to mention a talented performer himself.
