InvestComics – 4 Day New York Comic Con Ticket Giveaway!

The premiere Comic book speculation and entertainment information website InvestComics will be giving away the hottest ticket this October. “InvestComics wants to share the awesome power of New York Comic Con with the best of the best,” said Jay Katz, President of InvestComics. “We want to have a cosplayer shine with us at the greatest comic show on the east coast. Throughout the years we have covered the New York Comic Con, we have seen some amazing costumes put together from the cosplay community. Now it’s time to say thanks to that community for providing such a fun atmosphere at the show.”

Rafael Rosario, VP of InvestComics, added, “This is the ultimate cosplay contest, and InvestComics has always thought outside the box. We’re going all out here. Cannot wait to see the great submissions”

The NerdFu Podcast added, “This contest is stellar. Who wouldn’t want a 4 Day Ticket to the New York Comic Con?! We’re excited to see the great cosplay entries!”

The premiere comic book price app for iPhone and iPad, Zap-Kapow’s owner Steve Roop said, “When Jay asked if we wanted to be a part of the judging team, we couldn’t believe it. Two things we love: New York Comic Con and cosplay! This is going to be awesome!”

The guys over at Pete’s Basement said, “Free 4 Day Ticket to NYCC?! Are you f***ing kidding? This is a no brainer when Jay asked us to be a part of this panel!”

Rules/scheduling and other stuff: The InvestComics 4 Day Cosplay New York Comic Con Ticket giveaway will have very simple rules.

Anyone can enter. One entry per person. When entering, please include your name, an email, and (a direct contact number if you are a finalist). Your job will be to post a picture of your best cosplay that you will don at New York Comic Con. You will need to hashtag #investcomicsnycc and share your picture inviting others to join the contest (more directions below). The best cosplay chosen by the panel of judges InvestComics/NerdFu/Pete’s Basement/Zap-Kapow combined with tags/shares will win!

On Saturday October 11, 2014 at New York Comic Con you will hang with the InvestComics crew for a few hours throughout the show floor to take pictures and promote InvestComics.

InvestComics will not provide airfare, hotel or any transportation to the show. If you were planning on coming to the show or live within the metropolitan area, then this contest is for you.

The contest winner will be chosen by a panel made up of NerdFu, Zap-Kapow, Pete’s Basement and of course InvestComics. Here is how it will begin and end on September 15^th 2014.

Here’s how to enter. If you do not follow the guidelines you cannot be considered for the contest.

• Submit photos via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Hashtag #investcomicsnycc
• All photos of submissions will be posted to the Trending Pop Culture Facebook page. You then ask your friends and family to vote by liking and commenting on the photo (August 25th – September 7th)
• As a collective group, InvestComics/NerdFu/Zap-Kapow/Pete’s Basement will each choose one contestant as their finalist and the 5th is chosen by fans (most likes/comments) (September 8th)
• Judges vote on an overall winner (September 9th – 14th)
• Winner will be announced on September 15^th.

InvestComics started as a magazine in 2006; the first issue wasn’t released until June of 2007. The magazine was distributed as a free comic book Investment Guide throughout local comic shops in South Florida. It was also a giveaway on Ebay for any winning bid to receive with their order.

Although the InvestComics web site was on line in 2005, it wasn’t until 2007 the web site became the main focal point and the magazine ceased. InvestComics wanted to start reaching a broader audience and began to rapidly expand. InvestComics became the “Entertainment” Investment Guide as a result of covering many areas in the industry, focusing on entertainment as well as highlighting investment opportunities.
