Legion of Collectors – July – ‘Suicide Squad’ Reveal

 

We’ve already received two DC Legion of Collectors boxes from Funko and, like all of their subscription box offerings, we’re a fan. What’s not to love about exclusive Funko items, including Shirts, Pop! Vinyl, Dorbz, comic books, etc.?

We are super amped for the release of Suicide Squad (in theaters August 5th), so our excitement for the most recent Legion of Collectors was already through the roof. What would Funko include? With so many characters to feature, who would they choose?

Well, enough of the speculation – let’s get down to business.  Are you ready to find out What’s in the BOX?!!

DC Legion of Collectors – July – Suicide Squad

Just like the other subscription box offerings from Funko, the Legion of Collectors delivery is not just a “box of stuff.”  You can tell that Funko & DC really spent time thinking about the “experience” a user would have in opening the box and discovering their new-found treasure, starting with something as simple as opening the lid.

Inside the box top, you’ll find a unique Patch and Pin. Both are super high quality and ready for your jean jacket OR display (we opt for the display).

But that is just the top level. Below the patch and pin, at the heart of the box, is where we found all of this ….

100% Exclusive items! Funko & DC really delivered on their promise and I think fans are really going to love the variety and the addition of a new type of figure. Ultimately, you decide whether or not this subscription box is for you, but I’ll still offer up my opinion.  My favorite items were definitely the T-Shirt and the Funko Pop!, but I really like everything included.

** Each delivery of this month’s Legion of Collectors was supposed to include a Joker AND a Harley Quinn 3.75″ Action Figure. We did not receive the Harley Quinn figure, but reached out to our contact at Funko and they are already sending a replacement. If you experienced a similar issue simply e-mail support@legionofcollectors.com with a photo of the content of your box and their CS team will help.

In addition to all of the awesome items included in the box this month, Funko also included one of their “Checklist” cards (which we had only seen in the Marvel Collector Corps boxes before). I LOVE these cards and the “behind the scenes” information on the items included.
