Loot Crate – February 2015 Unboxing – PLAY

Once Valentine’s day arrived, we knew it was just a matter of days before IT arrived in the mailbox – a NEW Loot Crate!  They teased us with some hints and now it’s time to see what they delivered.  We review the latest offering from our favorite monthly subscription box: February 2015 – CPLAY!

With the holiday season behind us, we can finally get back to the important things in life, like … anything to do with PLAY!  Playing keeps the imagination primed, which not only helps us feel younger, but inspires creativity!  Whether you like to play tic-tac-toe or 3D chess, everyone is a winner when we use our imagination!

WHAT IS LOOT CRATE

In case you aren’t aware – here’s the low-down on what Loot Crate offers.  For under $20 a month, they deliver a box of Geek and Gamer gear valued at over $40.  Shirts, stickers, collectibles from companies like kidrobot & Funko, and random fun stuff like sunglasses & socks.  All the gear is nerd/geek themed and every month is like Nerd Christmas.  I can’t wait to find out what is inside each month.

FEBRUARY 2015 LOOT CRATE UNBOXING

February’s theme was PLAY and we didn’t really know much about the contents until the crate arrived.  As always Loot Crate delivered with an assortment of items perfect for just about any nerd/geek!

Let’s play WHAT’S IN THE BOX?!!

Loot Crate - February - numbers

Once again I like what I got in this month’s crate.  My favorite items were definitely the Ready Player One book and the Munny, but let’s not ignore the packaging.  The boxes themselves have become fun, interactive and an awesome backdrop for our loot each month.  February’s box is actually a board game called Crate Packing Simulator 2015 that utilizes the box, the Rock-Paper-Scissors Dice and pieces from the back of the monthly magazine that is included in the box.  This was another winner from the Loot Crate team!!

  1. Hi Sully,
our agency is working on an article about attractive packaging to appear on the DHL Express platform discover.dhl.com. We love the photos of the mega crate and the included boardgame and are keen to use it in a gallery to go along with the article, which shows examples of best practices. May we have your permission to use it?

    Kind regards,
