Loot Crate – March Unboxing – VERSUS

Just after we got the February Loot Crate box, it was revealed that the March theme would be Versus. Some of our favorite fandoms were specifically called out – Alien, Predator, Batman, Superman, Daredevil, Punisher … Loot Crate had our attention and we were ready for something spectacular. Now, the March crate has arrived and we dove right in to see what they pulled together.  Would VERSUS hold up to the hype and deliver as well as previous months?? You make the call in our unbox/reveal – below!

Thanks for joining us as we celebrate some of the greatest rivalries ever created for comics, television and movies. In this month’s crate we’re featuring good versus evil, hero versus antihero, creature versus creature, super alien versus hyper-prepared human and more!

WHAT IS LOOT CRATE?

Not familiar with Loot Crate?  For under $20 a month, they deliver a box of Geek & Gamer gear valued at over $40.  Shirts, stickers, collectibles from companies like kidrobot, Funko, Quantum Mechanix, etc. and random fun stuff like sunglasses & socks.  All the gear is nerd/geek themed and every month is like Nerd Christmas.

We also scrubbed the interwebs for some images of the other TITAN figures (turns out everyone got Predator or Alien) and the Golden Chase LootPin.  Here are a couple images we found on Instagram.

 

You are the one that decides whether or not the VERSUS Crate was a winner, but that doesn’t mean you won’t hear my opinion.  Honestly, I loved this month’s crate. While Loot Crate had been reducing the number of items in each box over the last few months, they ramped back up to more in this crate, but still didn’t sacrifice quaity.

It’s hard to pick a favorite item, but my top two have to be the Reversible Beanie (I LOVED Daredevil Season 2) and the Alien vs. Predator TITANS figure. Titan Merchandise has some amazing figures and this one, a special 4.5 inch exclusive, is awesome. They really nailed it. I just wish I could get the Predator one too.  The artwork on the shirt is great and it’s a wonderful tribute to the late, great Leonard Nimoy.
