What do you get when you cross Star-Lord and Mystique? We’re still working on the punch-line, but it looks like we’re about to get one of the most exciting movies of the year. Stars collide in the trailer for Passengers.
We once again have people waking from their sleep pods too soon (are they ever going to get that technology right?), but that’s where the similarities to other sci-fi movies seems to end.
Romance. Thriller. Sci-Fi. The only thing this movie might lack is comedy, but with Lawrence and Pratt starring we’re sure there HAS to be some fun sprinkled in too. Count us in and move Passengers to the top of our “Must See Opening Weekend” list.

Synopsis:
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are two passengers onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination. As Jim and Aurora try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… only to be threatened by the imminent collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.
