Pop! Movies – The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will hit theaters in December and should be worth seeing on the big screen, but sometimes the best movie treats come in small packages.

The Pop! Movies line has produced some of my all-time favorite figures (like Ivan Drago, Alien, Predator, Gizmo….) and now it looks Funko has some additional items I’ll need to add to my growing collection.

The Hobbit is back!  Bilbo and company have escaped the Misty Mountains and they are prepared to face Smaug!
It looks like Bilbo is still in possession of his ring…
Look closely and you might be able to see him!
The movie will be here December 13th so get your Pop!’s now to be prepared!
Check out the trailer RIGHT HERE!
…And prepare to be dazzled because it’s AWESOME!
Click on any of the images below to bring up a high-res image, complete with sharing tools so you can post to Facebook, Twitter, etc.

They’re here in time for the film’s release! – Available October 17th!

Will you check out that invisible Bilbo Baggins?? Just amazing.  Now if only I can get a Predator variant like that (hint, hint Funko)!

As always, we recommend that you pre-order any figure(s) that you think you can’t live without.  You just never know when a figure will sell out and leave you stranded.  Here are few retailers that we recommend.

Entertainment Earth – “coming in November 2013”

Fugitive Toys – they currently do NOT have these figures listed

ToyWiz – “ship date of early November”

BigBadToyStore – “estimated to arrive in November”
