‘ROCKY’ Poster by Gabz – Grey Matter Art

There are few films or franchises in the same ballpark as Rocky. Six Rocky films, a VERY successful Creed spinoff and Creed 2 (untitled) coming in 2017 – eight films in total. With the exception of Fast & Furious, Star Trek and Star Wars (we know it’s coming), how many other franchises even come close to that longevity and success?

It all began with one amazing film that put Sylvester Stallone on the map and reinvigorated America’s love for the sport of boxing. The original Rocky was released on November 21st, 1976 and we’ll be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film later on this year, but why wait. Our friends at Grey Matter Art revealed an early gift today.
