Pow! Funny and gorgeous nerd Rosario Dawson has joined the cast of The Lego Movie spinoff – The Lego Batman Movie – as Batgirl!
The Hollywood Reporter recently got the word out about Dawson being cast for director Chris McKay’s The Lego Batman Movie. Personally, I can never get enough Rosario. Ever. Her role on the Marvel/Netflix series Daredevil will soon be into it’s second season and we have no issues with her jumping from Marvel to DC. For McKay’s film, she’ll be providing the voice for Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl. Dawson joins Will Arnett who is reprising his Caped Crusader voice, Michael Cera is voicing the hero’s sidekick Robin, and Zach Galifianakis is in negotiations to play the Joker. How awesome is that lineup?!
