Pack your bags and get ready for Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer hijinks in Snatched! The duo star in this film about a mother and daughter vacationing together in Ecuador when things take an abrupt turn towards “Kidnap Alley”. From the trailer, we see that mother and daughter have two different personalities – one protective and reserved while the other is a little more vocal and brave. And yes, you can almost guarantee that this trip will test their relationship – for better or worse. We can imagine things would change between two people after a vacation like this right? Right.
A supporting cast includes Ike Barinholtz and Wanda Sykes so you can expect some great extra laughs to accompany Schumer’s signature comedic persona (that I love) hinted at in the trailer. Snatched also gets a thumbs up from us with Jonathan Levine sitting in the director’s chair. Levine is known for being behind some of our favorite dramedies including 50/50, Warm Bodies and The Night Before.
Satched releases just in time for Mother’s Day weekend.
