The last two Star Trek films have been helmed by none other than J.J. Abrams, who has been off conquering the other big Star movie. He’s taken a step back and handed the reins over Justin Lin. Sure, there will be plenty of haters out there, but when I heard that the Fast & Furious guy was heading to space AND taking over Star Trek, I was hyped.
Now, here we are with our first trailer for Star Trek Beyond, and they’ve used one of my favorite all time songs, which true fans will recognize from an earlier installment. Are they merging all of my favorite things in this? And the bigger question – will Zoe Saldana ever come back from space??
