A not-so-long time ago at convention sort of far away, a new Star Wars line of collectibles was introduced that made us drool. We know there is no shortage of Star Wars collectibles, but to us there are a handful of items that stand out in the figure department. The Star Wars Legion Series Figures are exactly those kind of standouts.
These artistic takes on the iconic Stormtrooper helmet are influenced by the Star Wars Legion Helmet Project which launched in early 2014. There are 7 designs with an 8th mystery “chaser” that’s blacked out according the image on the box. The series is blind boxed which can either be fun or maddening to some collectors and of course are randomly assorted. Each helmet is 2 1/2″ in size a feature the artwork from various Disney artists, celebrity Star Wars fans, and other select street artists.
The Star Wars Legion Series were initially launched and available at this year’s D23 Expo last month, but they are now available for purchase at the Disney Store online. You can buy a limit of 2 figures for $12.95 each or drop the hammer and just a whole tray that contains 16 packages for $207.20.
If you’re a big fan, that’s not a bad way to spend that bounty hunter money.
