Supernatural Panel – SDCC 2013 [PHOTOS]

Of all the movies and shows represented at Comic Con, Supernatural was one of the hottest commodities. The die-hard fans of the show that made it to SDCC, Steve and I included, lined up the night before and slept on concrete just to make it into the panel to see our favorite Winchester boys live and in person. Those who didn’t make it out to San Diego were standing by on Facebook and Twitter to catch every post about the panel and were quick to like, share and retweet. Of all the live posts we did during SDCC 2013, none had more retweets and favorites on Twitter.

The Supernatural panel at SDCC 2013 included Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jeremy Carver (executive producer), Misha Collins (Castiel), Mark A Sheppard (Crowley), and (in his first appearance at Comic Con) Robert Singer (executive producer).

About halfway into this year’s panel, fan-favorite Felicia Day (Charlie Bradbury) surprised the audience by coming out on stage and eventually sitting through the rest of the panel with the gang. It was confirmed that she would be returning to the show in season 9 as Charlie, but there was no indication of how many episodes she would be in. I’m hoping her presence on stage was a sign that she would have an expanded role in the series.

Here are our original photos from the panel. Click on any one of them for a larger version of the image, complete with sharing options.
