The lovable gang from one of our favorite childhood comic strips has just gotten a new trailer! The second trailer for The Peanuts Movie is out and we’re officially in. While this second trailer isn’t too much different than the first, we get a handful of new short scenes showing the gang and little character animations when it’s time for the roll call. The big deal about this movie (and from what we saw at this year’s SDCC) is that just about everyone is genuinely excited about seeing this beautiful merging of traditional animation with the slick style of CGI. It’s great to see Charles M. Schultz’s creation get new animated life by 20th Century Fox and director Steve Martino.
Don’t tell anyone, but I think my favorite part about this trailer is that fact that they open with the music from The Who’s Baba O’Riley and even included a (super short) nano-clip of Schroeder playing his piano in sync with the opening of the song! Be sure to catch the whole gang including Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Sally, Peppermint Patty, Schroeder, Lucy, Woodstock, and Pigpen when The Peanuts Movie arrives in theaters on November 6th!
