There are no men like him – Loki Exclusive Pop from Fugitive Toys

Con season has been under way for months and I think most of us have probably depleted any budget we had available for exclusives, but you might have to consider some “creative accounting” when you see the latest from Fugitive Toys and Funko.

Thor’s little brother (and archenemy) Loki first got a con-exclusive Pop! back at SDCC 2012 and it has consistently been one of the most expensive figures to change hands among collectors, often selling for between $150 – $200.  So when the Thor sequel (The Dark World) was first introduced it was no surprise to anyone that a new series of Pop!’s featuring some our favorite Marvel characters would appear, immediately followed by news of convention exclusives.

LOKI LOSES HIS COLOR

Thor: The Dark World Pop! Vinyl Bobblehead Black & White Loki, a Fugitive Toys exclusive first appeared on my radar earlier this week.

Loki is back, sans helmet and color, and thankfully he is a Fugitive Toys exclusive.  He’ll be offered up at Stan Lee’s Comikaze (November 1-3, 2013) in Los Angeles, but the good folks over at Fugitive Toys have seen fit to put a number of these figures up on their wesbite for pre-order, to be delivered a week after the convention.

There’s no mention of how many will be produced, but it’s safe to say that between the pre-orders and convention, this figure will not be available for long.

If you think there is any chance you are interested in this Fugitive Toys exclusive, don’t hesitate.  Once they are gone, that’s it.  You’ll have to turn to eBay and pay a premium to add B&W Loki to your collection.
