We Believe…..It’s Time for More of The X-Files

Even though we’re still months away from it being ready, that doesn’t change how much we’re excited to see The X-Files again. With all the key players and production pieces in place in Vancouver, it’s hard not to be excited that this is really becoming a reality. We’ve heard in various articles and podcasts (you must listen to the Nerdist podcast with Gillian Anderson) for a while that a “revival” was sort of brewing for EP/creator Chris Carter’s The X-Files but it took a bit of time for it to become official. We’re pretty sure this resurrection of The X-Files is happening in a big way thanks to the fans. As big fans of the show as well, we say “Thank You!” to all the others like us.

At this stage, there’s not a lot being released on the what the new six-episode series will be about and that’s natural. Let’s face it though folks…..would you really want it to know? Nope. Neither would we. Confirmed reports however that  Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are indeed returning as well as Chris Carter. X-tra bonus cool points go to the fact that Skinner (Mitch Pileggi), Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis) are all expected to be included as well. A recent surprise announcement was made that said Community’s Joel McHale was added the roaster. As is Mulder and Scully didn’t have enough to worry about.
